  1. Hei

First of all. I just wanted to say that this are some great articles about the A320 project you are working on. Great to see others with the same interest.

But I have one question regarding the “Main Power” part of the OHP electrical design.
To my understanding are you using “jumpers” to enable different parts of the board. But some are 5V, and the Arduino power you seem to want to power with 7V. Is the idea that you will add a step down converter from 12-7, and 12-5 respective, between the jumpers?
Is there a reason you are not adding some component like the TI LM2576xx to the board?
Btw, did you calculate how much power the overhead board will take once everything is connected?

Looking forward to hear more from your project 🙂
    Cheers,
    Manfred

    1. Hello Manfred. Thanks on your comment. Actually, I’m using Buck Converters to give the different line voltages. They will go on the places that looks like jumpers. I just did not used the LM2576xx directly into the board to keep simple the maintenance. If one of the burns, I just replace it without any soldering. I do not have the precise value the power, but I’m estimating something between 10 ~15 amps.

      Best regards
